What is the easiest way to get started?

Write descriptions for a few items and call our system to record the comments. Or, upload your own audio files. You may also send us your text and we'll record the tour for you. You can add more content or special effects at any time.

We discourage visitors from cell phone conversations during visits. Also, what about visitors using cell phone enabled cameras to take pictures of art. What impact will using Guide by Cell have on this policy?

Our clients have not observed visitors abusing these policies. Any hand-out material can also reinforce your positions.

Are visitors concerned about using cell phone minutes?

Most plans offer free weekend and evening minutes. Calling plans are becoming more generous and many plans roll over unused minutes to following months. We have not seen minute usage as a barrier.

We already have a handheld audio guide system. Should we offer Guide by Cell, too?

Absolutely. Guide by Cell can be updated real-time, can offer multiple language or curricula tours and can be customized for special exhibits that change frequently.

What about podcasts?

Our technology allows you to easily download all your recorded audio content to your computer, and then turn your cell phone tour into a podcast if you wish.
